If it’s always darkest before the dawn, then I must be on the brink of some serious creative enlightening.
I haven’t made any headway on my personal projects in a long time. Matter of fact, I will have a private celebration with myself just for hitting publish on this post.
I’m slightly embarrassed by this for some reason. I feel like I offered to take a bunch of people home, told them it would be a lovely ride, and then my car broke down on the way.
What gives? Well, this incubation period has definitely brought some very significant things to my attention:
{1} Writing isn't everything. I can express myself in many ways.
{2} There's no such thing as "missing your calling." You can change course at any time.
{3} My primary and most important goal is to just BE. It's easy to forget that.
