"Make friends with all aspects of your personality."
Only when we face our most difficult feelings do we discover who we really are. Take some time to get to know yourself and how you react to your own negative energy. I like to just let myself get familiar with the feelings.
Can’t beat ‘em? Join ‘em: "What’s up jealousy! Didn’t expect to see you here! What brought you out tonight? Oh snap! There’s selfishness! The gang's all here! So now that we are all here, let’s see what’s REALLY going on and why we all showed up tonight."
Once I sit with each feeling and "hear" what it has to say, I find that it's not as serious as I have created it to be in my mind. Secondly, I find that I love myself that much more for not judging my feelings and for owning everything about myself...flaws and all.
